OKLAHOMA CITY — An Oklahoma City woman was arrested after four dogs were found dead inside a home on Monday. At around 9:35 p.m., an Oklahoma City police officer was called to a home near Southeast 16th Street and Byers Avenue for a domestic situation. Real-life superheroes can be found in the form of first responders. Luckily for Tulsa, there is also a superhero academy in the city. EMSA had a big problem during COVID-19, says Adam Paluka, chief public affairs officer. Fewer graduates from external EMT programs were entering the field, and many seasoned EMTs and paramedics were leaving the industry. It was not sustainable. Instead of relying on external programs to produce qualified EMTs, “we decided to develop EMSA Advantage to ‘grow our own,’” Paluka adds.
