Heroes in training: EMSA Advantage program offers free EMT training to inspire the next generation of first responders
Real-life superheroes can be found in the form of first responders. Luckily for Tulsa, there is also a superhero academy in the city. EMSA had a big problem during COVID-19, says Adam Paluka, chief public affairs officer. Fewer graduates from external EMT programs were entering the field, and many seasoned EMTs and paramedics were leaving the industry. It was not sustainable. OKC Back-to-School Cool
The early days of August are dedicated to soaking up the remnants of a wide-ranging agenda (for the kids, that is) and making the plethora of arrangements needed for the start of a new school year (for the parents).
