High waters climbed over I-35 in Lorena
Lorena, Tx (FOX 44) – UPDATE: All lanes are reported to be back open after 11 a.m. Lorena Police reported that heavy rain, for a brief period, resulted in water over I-35 in their city. The southbound lanes of the interstate were shut down about 10:30 because of the high water.
Two dead in Killeen shooting
KILLEEN, Texas (FOX 44) – Two people are dead in what Killeen Police are calling the city’s ninth murder of 2024. Killeen Police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of Karen Drive at approximately 8:39 p.m. Monday. This was in reference to a domestic disturbance involving an armed subject. Officers made entry to the residence and found one man and one woman dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
