Next wave of Splatoon 3 icons available on Nintendo Switch Online

Back in July, Nintendo revealed the Grand Festival for Splatoon 3, which they’re calling the biggest Splatfest ever. This Splatfest kicks off Sept. 13th, 2024 and the theme revolved around the importance of the past, present or future. Nintendo wants to know which is most important to you, and you’ll battle it out for your choice once the Splatfest rolls around.

You might remember some time ago that in select parts of the world, Nintendo put out a physical release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that included some DLC from the Booster Course Pass. That physical release included Waves 1-5 of the Booster Course Pass, but owners had to download the 6th and final wave. Now it seems that has changed.

When Splatoon 3 launched in 2022, it had some big shoes to fill, as the first two entries in the beloved Nintendo franchise had not only done well, they helped redefine the multiplayer experience, especially for Nintendo titles! The game delivered numerous memorable moments while also delivering some fun twists to the formula and adding even more weapons and strategies for players to partake in! Back in June, we learned that The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom would include amiibo functionality. What we don’t know is just how amiibo will work with the game, but it’s clear Nintendo is keeping that info under wraps until a later date. Turns out Nintendo is also preparing amiibo stock for the game’s arrival as well.
