Young Man Pays for Woman's Gas, "Memphis Has Good Youth"

A woman in Memphis wants the world to know that her city has some stellar young people.

Olivia Jennings was out and about this week in Memphis, Tennessee when she started joking around with two young men at a Marathon Gas Station. To her surprise, one of the young men turned around and asked if he could pay for her gas.

In an interview with WREG, Jennings said "I was teasing him about all of the orange juice that they were buying. I thought he was just teasing back and I pulled out my credit card and said, 'Oh, it's ok, I got it.' He then said, 'No ma'am, I really want to buy your gas.' So I said ok!"

The young man then headed Jennings a $20 bill and went about his day, but not before Jennings could snag a picture with her new unlikely pal. Touched by his actions, she asked if she could share his photo online and tell the world about the kind, wonderful youths that Memphis has in its city limits.

Since she posted on Facebook, the post has garnered hundreds of likes and shares! In her post, she asked others to tell her about the young folks around them in Memphis, starting a trend of boosting everybody's moves by telling stories about the young people that impact them.

Later on, Jennings wrote, "Memphis has good youth, no matter what you say, we've got them. They are everywhere."

It just goes to show that one good deed can change many lives.
