In Texas, a San Angelo man saw a family that was asking for donations of any kind and he reached out to help this family. At the time, he had no cash on him so he went to a nearby restaurant and bought the family a warm meal to help them on their journey.

He spoke about the experience, explaining that in San Angelo, many people tend to ask for donations and take advantage of kind people, this family was one of the exceptions. He could tell that they genuinely needed help and he was happy to help them in a small way.

"Where I'm from and where I live, a lot of people stand on the corner and take advantage of other people, but you can truly see that these people are hardly doing without. I just wanted to try and do something nice for them," the man explained in the video below.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, more families are experiencing hardship and homelessness than ever before. It just goes to show that one kind deed can truly help somebody who is struggling. The next time you see somebody asking for help, reach out and help them.

"Just talking to them, they were very grateful, thankful," the man said in the video below.

Thank you for helping this family, we're all so grateful for your kindness, mystery man.
