Dowell named VMI Basketball Director of Scouting
LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Basketball Head Coach Andrew Wilson named Drew Dowell as his program's Director of Scouting Thursday morning. Dowell comes to the Institute by way of the LSU men's basketball program where he served the past season as a graduate assistant. Among many responsibilities, he assisted the coaching staff with daily practices, film preparation, scouting reports, player development and all gameday-related activities. He also assisted the crew with recruiting operations, video breakdown, operations, team travel and equipment management.
