TCRH celebrates 'A' rating from Leap Frog
GALAX — Twin County Regional Hospital’s (TCRH) July 18 celebration for earning an “A” safety rating from the watchdog group “Leapfrog” was about the compassionate pursuit of patient health and well being. The community celebration featured remarks by Congressman Morgan Griffith, TCRH CEO Sudandra Ratnasamy, Chief Nursing Officer William Alley, Dr. Jamie Carlo-Demovich and Board of Trustees Member Dr. David Ritchie. Randolph students conduct forest inventories for summer internship
A trio of Randolph students got a taste of the wild this summer. Alana Ellis ’26, Wednesday Hertzberg ’26, and Trinity Shirlen ’26 worked as summer field tech interns with the 500-Year Forest Foundation, led by Gabe Quintero ’23, who has worked as forest coordinator for the foundation since graduating from Randolph.
