Local Boy Rings the Bell After Beating Aggressive Form of Cancer
SAN ANGELO, TX— The 4-year-old young boy diagnosed with cancer has beaten the disease. Maverick Davis, who was diagnosed with Burkett Lymphoma Leukemia, rang the bell Wednesday, July 24, and has officially beaten cancer. Maverick’s mother, Katie Davis, has been updating Maverick’s progress on Facebook and posted a video of her young son ringing the bell. The hospital hallway was lined with nurses, hospital personnel, and others as Maverick walked down the hallway and rang the bell, signaling him defeating the disease. Learn More Here.
Crash on Beauregard Sends One to the Hospital
SAN ANGELO, TX — Law enforcement and emergency services personnel responded to a report of a crash on Wednesday afternoon. At around 3:45 p.m., a white Nissan Murano and a white GMC Sierra collided on W Beauregard near Jefferson St. According to the San Angelo Police Department, the Nissan Murano attempted to turn on to Beauregard heading east out of a parking lot in front of the GMC Sierra who was traveling west.
