Miners to host Skyhawks, needing 10th game
NEWTOWN – The Mingo Central High School football team will have a tough Homecoming opponent this Friday, Oct. 4 as the Scott Skyhawks come to town. The Miners (2-2), ranked No. 15 in the state in Class AA, were supposed to have their Homecoming Game last week against Point Pleasant, however, a power outage caused by the remnants of Hurricane Helene ended up wiping out the game.
