BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The Birmingham Police Department is conducting an investigation after a 15-year-old was shot and killed Sunday morning. According to BPD, south precinct officers received a call just before 7 a.m. from UAB Hospital that a juvenile had been shot. Officers arrived at UAB where they observed a 15-year-old inside a van suffering from a gunshot wound. UAB staff pronounced the juvenile deceased at the hospital.
