Rice Lake’s 12U youth baseball team is competing at the Wisconsin Little League State Tournament in Kenosha. As the District 3 selection, Rice Lake is one of six teams in the tournament. Through three games the Warriors are 1-2. Higher than normal volume of ‘Pets in car” cases in Eau Claire
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Eau Claire Police say they are seeing higher than normal cases of animals being left in hot cars. This can be bad for pets due to suffering from heat exhaustion and discomfort as cars can heat up quickly. The police department says they will contact pet owners after responding to a call, but if no progress has been made they will break the car window.
