A cold front will stall just east keeping an isolated storm threat around for eastern areas through the afternoon and early evening. The News 8 Storm Team have designated today an Impact Day. A Heat Advisory is in effect for most of the Susquehanna Valley. Temperatures will soar to the low to mid-90s. Combined with the high humidity, it will feel hotter, more like 98-102°. For those sensitive to the hot temperatures, you may consider limiting outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day. Be sure to stay hydrated and if you must be outdoors, take frequent breaks in the air conditioning. Keep an eye on the elderly and small children. Don’t forget about your pets too.
