    Goshen woman dies after vehicle crash in Pickaway County

    HARRISON TWP — A Goshen woman dies after a vehicle crash Friday in Pickaway County.

    The Pickaway County Communications Center received a 911 call around 8:14 p.m. April 26 about multiple vehicle crash, with possible ejection at the intersection of State Route 762 East and Ashville Pike, in Harrison Township.

    When Pickaway County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene, they located a two-vehicle crash. During their investigation they learned that a red 2002 Honda Civic driven Andrew C. Himes, 19, of Thurston, was at the stop sign, proceeded into the intersection, failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with the 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, according to a press release from PCSO. The Chrysler Town and Country was driven by Charles R. Lingo, 58, while Laura L. Lingo, 60, and Luka Lingo 19-year-old from Goshen, Ohio, were the passengers.

    Charles Lingo was taken by Jackson Township EMS to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Luka Lingo was taken by Med-Flight to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Scioto Township EMS took Laura Lingo to Mt. Carmel Grove City. While at Mt. Carmel Grove City Laura Lingo succumbed to her injuries and died.

    Sheriff Matthew Hafey thanked the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Harrison Township Fire and EMS, Scioto Township Fire and EMS, Jackson Township EMS, Med-Flight, Air Evac and the Ohio Department of Transportation for their assistance at the scene.
