As the progenitor of the countdown, I’ve taken a looooot of time off from the pursuit of late, but after being an NPC last season as I recuperated from carpal-tunnel, I decided to once more enter the breach to talk about our Broncos. IDAHO FALLS — The Eagle Rock Art Guild’s annual Sidewalk Art Festival is returning for its 69th year this weekend. The Eagle Rock Art Guild (ERAG) is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization founded in 1948. Their annual Sidewalk Art Festival will take place on Saturday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Idaho Falls Greenbelt Riverwalk on Memorial Drive.
Golden Eagle Women's XC finishes with highest GPA in CSI Athletics
TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Cross Country Team took care of business academically and athletically for the 2023-24 school year, posting a department high 3.69 team GPA with nine NJCAA Academic All Americans and finishing fourth in the country at the NJCAA Cross Country Championships.

Utah State player Andre Seldon Jr. dies in apparent cliff-diving accident
Utah State cornerback Andre Seldon Jr. died in an apparent cliff-diving accident, the school announced on Saturday. The school revealed that Seldon’s body was located at 9:05 p.m. MT by the Utah Department of Public Safety’s dive team after reports of a man diving off cliffs at the Porcupine Reservoir and never resurfaced.
Clean stand-up comedy scores a success at Lionheart Hall
LOGAN – The question of the night during the “Drybar Comedy at the Hall” performance on July 19 was, of course, whether good comedy can also be clean comedy. Four stand-up comics appeared that evening before a packed crowd at the Lionheart Hall here in Logan. All of them were Utahns, with 50 percent being local Cache Valley residents. That made them all fairly adept at tiptoeing around the sensibilities of their fellow citizens.
