USU researchers are helping UDOT study vertiports
LOGAN - Vertiports are areas designed for a vertical takeoff and landing of a variety of aerial vehicles. Recently the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) formulated the first concepts for vertiports. For the last three years Utah State University Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning (LAEP) researchers have been helping UDOT study vertiports, to determine where they can be placed in existing infrastructure.

Earlier this week, the city of Boise announced significant investment into a housing complex expansion named New Path 2.0, as part of continued investment to address homelessness. KENDRICK - Crews continue to battle the Texas Fire, located east of Kendrick on the Latah/Nez Perce County line. According to a Sunday morning update from officials, the fire size is estimated at 1,575 acres and is 20% contained. The fire area grew by only 32 acres between Thursday and Saturday.
