Ford, Williams Make IWLCA Academic Honor Roll
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (July 25, 2024) – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) uncovered its 2024 Division I Academic Honor Roll where Howard University had a pair of Bison make the cut. The announcement came Wednesday (July 24). Goalkeeper Logan Ford (Charlotte, N.C.) and attacker Kimora Williams (Marlton, N.J.) were selected after accumulating a 3.50 grade point average (GPA) or better. Last season, Ford, a political science major, saw action in 15 contests while registering 82 saves. For Williams, the sports management major played in only four matches for HU. Overall, the IWLCA honored 1,163 student-athletes from 113 different institutions....

“D-4 Officers Seize 20 Mopeds While Conducting Moped/Motorcycle Enforcement In The Back Bay And South End. On Thursday, July 25, 2024, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End/Back Bay) were continuing traffic enforcement of off highway vehicles to include unlicensed operators, unregistered, and uninsured mopeds and motorcycles. Officers focused their efforts in the 500 Block of Boylston Street, Huntington Avenue/ Gainsborough Street, and the Ink Block Neighborhood. This particular traffic enforcement is to address the ongoing community complaints of reckless operation of these vehicles seen in commercially populated areas.

'26 OL Dean Ruksnaitis commits to Boston College
Boston College is holding their annual recruiting BBQ, and have already landed their first commitment from the event. On Thursday afternoon, Williston Northampton (Mass.) '26 offensive lineman Dean Ruksnaitis announced his commitment to the Eagles. The 6-3 270 pound lineman, also had offers from Akron, UMass, Old Dominion, and URI. A local recruit, he was also on campus this spring, where he met the staff and got a feel for the program under Bill O'Brien.
