Boston Bruins Newcomer Set to Make Significant Impact
In a bold move this offseason, the Boston Bruins shook things up by sending Linus Ullmark, their star goaltender, to the Ottawa Senators. This decision broke up the NHL’s dynamic duo between Ullmark and fellow star, Jeremy Swayman. As a result, Swayman is set to take on a much larger role in the upcoming 2024-25 season. The Bruins acquired forward Mark Kastelic in the Ullmark trade. In doing so, they add a player who may not grab headlines just yet, but has the potential to greatly strengthen the team’s lineup. Mark Kastelic is famous for his physical play, and there’s no doubt he’ll bring that same level of physicality to the Bruins.

Clinton St. industrial park provokes 17 hours of contentious debate

A cohort of 11 middle and high school teachers in the local area will be presenting their summer research work in WPI faculty labs at the RET poster session on Friday, August 9, 10:30-11:30am in Higgins House. 53-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Machine Gun, Drugs
WORCESTER – A search warrant led to the arrest of a woman for a machine gun and drugs on Monday, July 22. Officers for the Worcester Police Department successfully requested a search warrant for a black BMW and an address on Florence Street. Officers located the subject of the warrant, Natasha Perry, 53, of Worcester, exit the residence and enter the vehicle.
You May Be Breaking Some of These Massachusetts Laws Without Knowing It
Massachusetts seems to have a law for everything and while it makes sense for some things others are just strange. As we all know the 4th of July recently passed and Massachusetts is the only state that has a law against consumer fireworks including buying, selling, and using. Some folks agree with this law while others think it's complete nonsense. In addition, this law doesn't seem to be enforced in Massachusetts at least not in my area. So, why even have the law if it's not being enforced? Either way, the law is the law.

ASCs in many markets are struggling for leverage with payers, up against massive hospital systems and sparse cost information from the insurance companies.
