GRAFTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — If you’ve been wanting to listen to some live music this weekend and see some antique cars, you can still catch the second annual Give a Dam About the Arts Mega Jam at the Grafton City Park next to the Tygart Dam on Saturday.

The event is a fundraiser for the second floor of Gallery 62 in the Taylor County Arts Council Gallery Building. This is the second year the funds will be going to the gallery.

Program designer Ashlie Clark is hoping to use the funds raised for expansion.

“It’s been there for about 25 to 30 years operating as a non-profit and offering all kinds of artistic opportunities to the community,” Clark said. “So now, we’re trying to make more space available, more classrooms, and just add to the things that we can offer.”

This year’s fundraiser has a 1960s theme with antique cars as part of the car show as well. The last performer on Saturday night will be Grace Campbell at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person, $50 for two and children under 12 are free.
