Jacksboro police arrest suspect after standoff at apartment
JACKSBORO, Texas — A man was arrested following a standoff with police at an apartment in Jacksboro on Wednesday, according to the Jacksboro Police Department. Officers responded to a possible aggravated assault at approximately 12:43 p.m. in the 1400 block of N Main. Upon arrival, they met with a female victim who reported the incident occurred at the Mesquite Trail Apartments on 5th Street. The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Brandon Hall, of Jacksboro, Texas, allegedly assaulted the victim with his fists and a knife. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
