No Lakewood Farmers Market or Summer Concerts for two weeks
The Lakewood Farmers Market and Summer Nights at the Pavilion Summer Concert are on hiatus the next two weeks. There will be no market or concert July 16 or 23. The pause is so the City of Lakewood can prepare for and recover from SummerFEST, happening July 20 at Fort Steilacoom Park.

Kent Police released a sketch of what Alyssa McLemore might look like now in an effort to find the Kent woman missing since 2009. McLemore was 21 when she disappeared over 15 years ago on April 9, 2009. She was 5 feet 3 inches tall and about 130 pounds at the time she disappeared. Her hair is naturally black but she was known to sometimes bleach her hair, according to Kent Police. She had a 3-year-old child when she disappeared.
