ASOTIN COUNTY - The Cougar Creek Fire is burning about 23 miles southwest of Asotin in timber grass and brush, near Highway 129. The fire is located in rugged rangeland with isolated pockets of timber in a mixed topography of ridgelines, benches, plateaus, and secondary drainages.
