MOSES LAKE, Wash. – A Moses Lake man was slapped with five years in federal prison for helping setting a car on fire. According to the US Department of Justice, 25-year-old David Maybee was with another man who poured gasoline on a parked Audi in front of Motel 6 on Jan. 21, 2022. Maybee and the individual who lit the fire both expected to be rewarded by a drug dealer for destroying the car.
California triple-murder suspect with Idaho ties arrested in Modesto
MODESTO, Calif. — The nationwide search for a triple-murder suspect with Idaho ties is over after law enforcement reported the man was arrested in Modesto, California. The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) on Tuesday said 59-year-old Jose Carmen Cardona was located and arrested. He faces three counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and one county of child endangerment.
