Expectations remain high for the Lakers’ girls cross country team, which won the OK Blue championship last fall and placed fourth at the Division 2 state meet.

“We have our largest team in school history with 39 girls,” said coach Aaron Andres, who is entering his 17th season at the helm of the program. “We have a nice blend of returning varsity runners and young runners who had great success at the middle school level.”
