GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Connor Stalions, the former Michigan football employee at the center of an alleged illegal sign-stealing scheme, is ready to tell his side of the story.

Netflix announced that a documentary featuring Stalions will be released next month as part of the fourth season of “Untold.”

The episode, called “Sign Stealer,” was directed by Micah Brown and is set to premiere on the streaming platform on Aug. 27.

Stalions was hired by Michigan’s football program as a recruiting analyst in 2022. He resigned last November after allegations surfaced that he was leading a network of people recording the opposing team’s sideline signals.

Former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh was suspended for three games by the Big Ten last season despite the coach claiming no knowledge of Stalions’ alleged infractions and no formal investigation. Even without Harbaugh and while under a national spotlight, the Wolverines managed to go 15-0, win their third consecutive Big Ten title and beat Washington for the program’s first national championship since 1997.

“Sign Stealer” will debut four days ahead of the Wolverines’ 2024 home opener, a Saturday showdown against the Fresno State Bulldogs. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised on WOOD TV8.
