100th annual Coast Guard Festival
Friday marks the start of the 100th annual Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven.
The event goes through most of next week, too, which means you will have plenty of time to visit and check out all of the planned attractions.

Storm Team 8 Forecast Oddities & Curiosities Expo
Curiosity may have killed the cat but it’s also what you need to experience an interesting event coming to Grand Rapids.
DeVos Place will host the 2024 Oddities and Curiosities Expo. The showcase will have every “weird” thing you can think of and then some. You can browse and even purchase some of the things you find.

Grand Rapids Taco & Tequila Festival
The second annual Grand Rapids Taco and Tequila Festival returns this Saturday.
‘Who doesn’t love tacos?’ GR festival will have tequila, music, food From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., head on down to Riverside Park and dine on some of the best local tacos and tequila-infused drinks. There will be over 100 tequilas to choose from.

GRPL’s Comic Geek Out
This Saturday, the Grand Rapids Public Library is hosting Comic Geek Out, your chance to embrace your nerdiness.
The event will celebrate all things comic book and geeky. There will be activities, refreshments and a special appearance by voice actor Jason Liebrecht.

Global Water Festival GR
Also happening Saturday is the Global Water Fest hosted by the GR Asian-Pacific Foundation.
This event pits 20 teams against each other in dragon boat races on the Grand River. There will also be live music, food and artisan markets to enjoy.

Wiener Wars! at Broad Leaf Brewery
If you love hot dogs then you’re going to want to Broad Leafe Brewery + Spirits this Sunday for Wiener Wars.
The competition will have four specialty hot dogs for you to taste and vote on your favorite. It will take place from noon to 9 p.m. at the Kentwood location.

The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales are making a stop in West Michigan this weekend.
On Friday, the horses will parade down Western Avenue during the 90th-anniversary parade for the Tyler Sales Company.

One of Michigan’s longest-running antique shows returns to Allegan this Sunday.

Kalamazoo Blues Festival
The 30th annual Kalamazoo Blues Festival will kick off this Saturday at noon at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place.
This year there will be the usual amount of great, live blues music playing but there will also be plenty of food trucks, drinks and more.

2nd annual Fair Ground Festival in Hastings
Saturday marks the second annual Fair Ground Festival in Hastings.
The female-forward music festival will feature several acts all day long including Grammy-nominated duo The War and Treaty.
