    KOOTASCA Community Action announces relocation of offices and programs

    KOOTASCA Community Action is pleased to announce the relocation of its offices and programs, a strategic move designed to enhance internal capacity and ensure long-term sustainability. This change will enable us to serve the community more effectively.

    New Office and Program Locations

    Effective August 12, 2024, our Grand Rapids office will be located at:

    Early Childhood Education Hub, 822 NE 5th Ave Grand Rapids, MN 55744

    Our International Falls office has already moved to:

    Advantages of the New Locations

    These new facilities will allow KOOTASCA to consolidate services, programs and partnerships, enhancing convenience for participants seeking comprehensive support.

    Grand Rapids Relocation Schedule:

     August 5-9: Offices will be closed. Services will be available by phone, and we will make every effort to connect with participants during this week. The food pantry will operate at:

     August 12: The new office at the Early Childhood Hub will open, and in-person services will resume.

    International Falls Relocation: The move is complete, and services are currently available at the Backus Community Center.

    Support During Transition

    KOOTASCA recognizes the challenges associated with transitioning to new locations and is committed to making this process as smooth as possible. Participants requiring transportation to the new locations can contact AEOA’s Dial-A-Ride at 1-800-862-0175 to arrange a ride.
