The Minnesota Friends of NRA has awarded Ayden Schauer of Grand Rapids a State Scholarship totaling $1,000 to help offset the rising cost of college. “We are very excited about the interest in the inaugural Minnesota Friends of NRA scholarship program and pleased that the FNRA is making an investment in our community.”

Ayden is a senior this year in Grand Rapids. Ayden is involved in Target Shooting, Theatre, Volunteering, and many other community activities. She is one of 5 recipients of a MN Friends of NRA Scholarship this year totaling $15,000.

    About Friends of NRA

Friends of NRA is a grassroots fund-raising program that fosters community involvement to organize and, with help from NRA field staff, plan community events for firearms enthusiasts.

All net proceeds from Friends of NRA events are allocated to The NRA Foundation, the leading charitable organization in support of the shooting sports. Through NRA Foundation grants for equipment, training materials, range improvements, and more, qualified local, state, and national programs receive aid to involve and inspire a new generation of competitive shooters.
