KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Wednesday morning, the Grandview School District reported that a fight broke out between two students before a practice, leaving one with minor injuries.

The district said that staff “promptly intervened” during the fight and assured families that the original reports of an alleged stabbing were inaccurate.

According to the Grandview Police Department, the fight may have been caused by insults being posted about a student online. However, this has not been confirmed.

The cause of the injury is still unknown. FOX4 will provide this story with the latest details and updates as more information is released about this case.
