Marshall Woman Injured in I-70 Crash
A Marshall woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Blue Springs in Jackson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2024 Kia Soul was traveling in the right lane of I-70, while a 2020 Peterbilt tractor trailer, driven by 62-year-old James R. Harris of Bowling Green, Mo., was traveling in the left lane of I-70 at Adams Dairy Parkway around 11:45 a.m., when the Peterbilt merged into the right lane and struck the driver's side of the Kia. The Kia then ran off the right side of the roadway, across the ramp and struck a guardrail.
