EVENSVILLE — One person was killed and another seriously injured in a wreck on Evensville Mountain Road on Saturday, according to law enforcement officials. Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster, Crossville Mayor RJ Crawford and House Speaker Cameron Sexton joined Whisper Aero Co-founders, Mark Moore and Ian Villa, for the official ribbon cutting of Whisper Aero’s Flight Test Center. Construction on the 8,000 square foot hangar at the Crossville Memorial Airport began last July. The new facility was made possible through a $1.2 million appropriation from the State of Tennessee and features a high bay area for testing and office space for onsite engineering.
Soddy Daisy Man Arrested, Charged in 2020 Homicide
HAMILTON COUNTY – Special agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, working alongside the 12th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office, the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, the Soddy Daisy Police Department, and the Dayton Police Department, have arrested and charged a man in connection with a 2020 homicide.
