    Homicide investigation underway after Grandview man dies

    GRANDVIEW, Wash. -- The Yakima County Sheriff's Office said an investigation is underway after a man died from a gunshot wound.

    Police said the call for help came in just before 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3 in the area of South Euclid Road and Bridgeview Road.

    According to officials, the caller said her father had been shot and that someone known to the family was fighting with him.

    Officials said when officers arrived to the scene, a man was found with a gunshot wound to his head.

    Police said medical crews were not able to revive him.

    According to YCSO, officers were unable to find a suspect after a search of the area.
