KCYF is Coming to “The Grand” with The Greatest Showman Theme
The Kent County Youth Fair (KCYF) will be held from July 29th through Aug. 3 at “The Grand”, the new fair location at, 13801 Cascade Road, south of Lowell. A fully-packed schedule for this year’s youth fair includes mainstay traditions ranging from animal shows, large livestock auction on Thursday, to Reading for Rides on Wednesday, Access-Ability Friday and Kid’s Day on Saturday.

Gas prices approach $4 a gallon in Grand Rapids area
(WXMI) — Motorists experienced sticker shock at the pump recently as gas prices jumped near $4 a gallon in the Grand Rapids area. We spoke with Gas Buddy analyst Patrick DeHaan, who says the jump in price is partly due to a routine price cycle. However, it was made worse by an Illinois refinery outage triggered by last week’s severe weather.
