That decision led to the creation of the Charmaine Chapman Society (CCS) which is now one of the largest African American giving societies in the country.

Pritzker’s lofty goal to have one million electric vehicles on Illinois roads in less than six years, and now a public service campaign is critical of his political party’s EV agenda. The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) has launched an ad campaign called “Driver’s Seat” that highlights Vice President Kamala Harris’ support for a 100% ban on sales of new gas cars in the U.S. The campaign is part of AFPM’s eight-figure issue campaign to...

Illinois Supreme Court upholds unconstitutionality of Democrats' law banning slating of candidates
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — The Illinois Supreme Court on Friday upheld a lower court ruling that tossed out a law barring political parties from choosing candidates for the General Assembly when they had no one run in a primary. The court’s decision was not based on the merits of the case: Two justices recused themselves from deliberations, and the court was unable to get four votes needed to render a valid opinion. The law, which was approved by majority Democrats and Gov. J.B. Pritzker in May, stopped the long tradition of parties “slating” candidates. Designed to help Democrats in the November election, it effectively prevented Republicans from drafting candidates after no one appeared in the ballot in the March primary. Draftees were eligible as long as they collect the required number of petition signatures by a June 3 deadline.

This just in. You might be living in a real life Matrix. Don't believe me? A guy swears he has video proof that there's a dome over Illinois. To say that I don't understand everything I see in the skies above Illinois and Missouri is an understatement. His video entitled "Dome spotted in Illinois!!" is interesting.

A bald eagle was captured in Missouri, thought to be uninjured, and unable to fly. The bird was healthy, just engorged - or, "too fat to fly," after eating its latest meal. An X-ray showed parts of what appeared to be a raccoon’s paw. Wildlife officials in Missouri said...

After blowing away their goal of 170 mph last year at the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in Sunrise Beach, Mo., with a 184-mph pass, owner Jim Schultz and the Factory Billet team didn’t have a whole lot to prove coming into the 36th annual event on the popular Midwest waterway, just a state away from the team’s Lake Zurich, Ill., facility. But that didn’t stop them from running two mph faster than they did in 2023 right off the bat this morning on the event’s three-quarter-mile course.
