Missouri woman arrested on suspected drug distribution in Osage County
A Missouri woman was arrested on suspected drug distribution charges in Osage County on Monday. Sheriff Chris Wells says the arrest of 37-year-old Kyra Merriman of Kansas City developed after an alleged traffic infraction. An Osage County K-9 unit stopped Merriman at US Highway 75 and 189th Road, about five miles north of Lyndon, and allegedly found illegal narcotics.

(KANSAS CITY, MO) - The 2024 MIAA Football Media Day was held at the Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City on Tuesday. Mozingo board hears park updates
The Mozingo Advisory Board met on July 15, and heard park updates from Director Jordyn Greenhaw. The board was able to hear about the new and updated Mozingo website. The site is more current and user friendly, plus the staff is able to edit it much easier than the previous site. A new brochure has been completed that features a full map of the park. Also staff recently went through the various trails at Mozingo with a GPS. Greenhaw hopes that a complete trail map will be finished soon as well.
