GA solar business showcases benefits of Inflation Reduction Act
A Georgia business owner is touting the effects of the Inflation Reduction Act on families, businesses and job creation, including her own. Olivia Amyette, owner of Infinite Energy Advisers in Cleveland, Georgia, said her journey into the solar industry began at Georgia Tech. After graduating in December 2020 during the pandemic, she chose to stay in Georgia to care for her grandfather. Amyette credits the Inflation Reduction Act for helping jump-start her solar career, allowing her to support those in need and increase job opportunities.

Two Meriwether County firefighters injured after fire engine hydroplanes, overturns
Two firefighters from Meriwether County are recovering from minor injuries after their fire engine hydroplaned and overturned on Sunday night around 6:30 p.m. The fire engine was responding to a vehicle accident on Georgia Highway 85, north of Gay, when it hit water on the roadway, hydroplaned and overturned. The truck reportedly hit The Silo Steakhouse when it crashed.
Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Announces Leadership Carroll Clothing Drive a Success
The 2024 Leadership Carroll cohort, hosted by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, successfully completed their clothing drive service project. Community members from all over Carroll County generously donated gently used professional clothing, which the cohort packaged and delivered to the University of West Georgia Career Services “Career Closet”.
