ATLANTA — The City of Atlanta and Atlanta Urban Development (AUD) announced three new affordable housing projects, including redeveloping the West End, on Monday. According to the city, the projects combined will add nearly 350 affordable housing for Atlanta residents who are earning up to 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) in Atlanta. Each project will offer at least 20% of units affordable for those making 50% AMI and an additional 10% for people earning up to 80% AMI.

Grantville Community Mourns Sudden Loss of Police Officer Kevin Enfinger Post-Shift
The community in Coweta County and the city of Grantville are confronting the sudden and unexpected death of Corporal Kevin Enfinger, a local police officer, who passed away Sunday after completing his work shift. The Grantville Police Department has confirmed that Enfinger died from what is believed to have been a heart attack. He was discovered unresponsive in the median by a passerby who attempted life-saving measures through CPR, to no avail, as FOX 5 Atlanta reported.
