Brady William Albert, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2024. He was 21 years old. Brady was born on March 12, 2003, to Anne Duttinger and Paul Elliott Albert in State College. From a young age, he brought immense joy to everyone around him with his infectious laughter and compassionate heart. He grew up in Pennsylvania Furnace on the family farm, where he attended State College Area School District graduating in 2021.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State student-athletes recorded another outstanding semester in the classroom with a 3.28 term grade-point average (GPA) in the 2024 spring semester. The Nittany Lions had spring records with 596 students (73%) with a 3.0 semester GPA and 296 Dean’s List honorees (12+ credits & 3.5 semester GPA). In addition, 69 full-time students tallied a 4.0 semester with 17 carrying a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

The Centre Area Transportation Authority launched a pilot CATAGo on-demand microstransit zone serving Lemont and Houserville on July 1 and initially planned to eliminate Lemont from the College Connector fixed-route bus line with the start of the fall service schedule in August.
