2023-24 TCU Women’s Equestrian Season Recap
The TCU women’s equestrian team remained one of the elite programs in the country during the 2023-24 campaign. The Horned Frogs went 14-3 overall and scored eight victories against ranked opponents throughout the regular season. TCU ultimately took second in the Big 12 Championship before reaching the final round of the NCEA National Championship, where the Horned Frogs fell against SMU to take second place. A Century of History Eradicated: Texas Megachurch Destroyed in Fire
The red brick walls of First Baptist Dallas Church's historic sanctuary are soot-singed and intact, but only devastation and ashes are found within. At 6:05 pm, the Dallas Fire-Rescue received a call for 1717 San Jacinto street in the heart of downtown Dallas. A second alarm was requested at 6:20 pm. The fire was contained until 7:35 pm when the roof partially collapsed and a third alarm was called. Finally, a fourth alarm was called at 8:14 pm, according to CBS5 News.

The grants, averaging just over $28,000 per organization, are part of the Foundation’s Spring Grants Cycle and are supported by endowed funds tailored to match a donors’ specific interests. The funds, established by and named for their founding donors, support a diverse array of causes, including the arts, animal welfare, domestic violence, and health-related causes, and prioritize programs that address today’s urgent needs while paving the way for a brighter future for our neighbors across Greater Dallas.

Congratulations to Dane Acker, who won the voting to be named the #13 prospect in the LSB Midseason Community Prospect Rankings with a little under 20% of the vote. Because there has been a history of vote-spamming shenanigans in the rankings, I used Google Forms for the last couple of community rankings, and it worked out well, so we will use it again. You will need to include your LSB user name when you vote. If you don’t have an LSB user name, you need to use some sort of identifier. While this won’t eliminate the possibility of vote spamming, it will make it harder.
