Tragic Loss: Former Michigan Football Star Drowns at 22. According to multiple reports, Andre Seldon Jr., a former Michigan football player and standout at Belleville High School, drowned at the age of 22 after diving off a cliff into the water at Porcupine Dam, according to the Cache County Sheriff’s Office.

How to follow Michigan football at Big Ten Media Days this week
The Big Ten takes center stage this week as the 18-team conference hosts Big Ten Football Media Days from July 23-25 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Six schools will be represented each day, beginning Tuesday with Illinois, Northwestern, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers and Wisconsin. The following day features Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, UCLA and USC.

Man gets up to 20 years prison for shooting death in northeast Nebraska
HARTINGTON, Neb. — A Louisiana man was sentenced Monday to up to 20 years in prison for the fatal shooting of a co-worker near Hartington in northeast Nebraska. District Judge Bryan Meismer sentenced David Phillips Jr., 22, to four to 20 years in prison for the March 1, 2023, shooting death of Israel Matos-Colon. Phillips will be credited for 509 days already spent in custody since his arrest.
