WCCD’s Washtenaw Field Day to be held in Bridgewater Twp

On September 13, 2024, from 8am to 1pm, the Washtenaw County Conservation District (WCCD) will host a field day that will be focused on reducing nutrient loss from field tiles and the use of cover crops to improve soil health, suppress weeds, and assist with nutrient cycling, and will also feature a drone demonstration. The field day will be at H & H Harvest in Bridgewater Township (9880 Austin Rd, Saline), which is operated by Brandon Henes.

With help from a federal grant, the Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD) will continue to offer educational opportunities to preschool-age kids.
