Nigel Pringle commits to Arkansas
FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has picked up a commitment from Houston North Shore three-star cornerback Nigel Pringle. Pringle, 6-2, 178, committed to Arkansas on Monday. Pringle had 17 offers and took an official visit to Arkansas the June 14 weekend. On June 22, Pringle named a Top 6 of Arkansas, Kansas, Oregon, Arizona, UCF and Houston.
Meeting planned to discuss Black historic district, bicycle safety at Walker Park
FAYETTEVILLE — A community meeting is planned this week to offer more information about a proposed Black historic district. The nonprofit group NWA Black Heritage is working to create the district as part of a plan to preserve Black history in Fayetteville, specifically in the Spout Spring neighborhood where many Black families settled following the Civil War.
