Third day of time trials wraps up in AuSable River Canoe Marathon in Grayling

Today was the final day of time trials for the AuSable River Canoe Marathon in Grayling.

Paddlers came into today knowing the pace had been set and the bar was high, but that certainly didn’t deter Daniel Medina and Logan Mynar.

The pair were each top ten finishers last year with different partners, but joined forces this year and were able to post the lowest trial time by over three seconds.

Ryan Stepka and Carson Burmeister are another pair looking to make some noise.

Carson is an AuSable veteran, but this is Ryan’s first year in the race.

Together, the pair posted a 5:15 for tenth place.

Lastly Michael Schlimmer and Eve Chamberland looked to defend their mixed title from last year, and put themselves in a good position to do just that by finishing their trial second in the category.
