3 shot, 1 fatally, in Lawndale, Chicago police say
One person is dead and two more were injured in a shooting in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood Monday afternoon, police said.The shooting happened near Cermak and Karlov on the West Side. Free household hazardous waste collection on July 27
The City of Evanston has partnered with the Village of Skokie to offer a free Household Hazardous Waste Collection event to residents from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, at the Niles North High School North Parking Lot. A police chase on Sunday night ended with arrest of an 18 year old who allegedly stole a vehicle in Warrenville. On Sunday, July 21st at 9:33 p.m. Will County Sheriff Deputies located a stolen blue Hyundai sedan near the area of Midland and Jefferson. The vehicle was stolen in Warrenville earlier that morning by suspects that were armed with handguns.
