Black Bear Sightings Reported In South Central, Western Kentucky
OWENSBORO (06/25/24) – Reports are starting to come in of black bear sightings in the region: reports placed a bear near Wax in Grayson County last week and now a report of one near the Ohio-Daviess County line. The State Department of Fish and Wildlife says black bears can be tolerant of people, they should always be treated as the wild animals they are, whether in a residential or backcountry area.

Grayson County tennis players served up results during the recent Central Kentucky Tennis Series circuit. The Miller Park Tennis Classic was held June 1 and 2 in Campbellsville, and Grayson County’s Maddox Powell earned the title of 16 and under singles runner-up. Powell went 2,6 2,6 against Josiah Castenir.
Superintendent addresses GCS pay concerns

Twin Lakes Disc Golf fundraiser set for June 29

Grayson County home to four Certified Farm Markets
