Spring City, Graysville to hold July 4 celebrations

SPRING CITY/GRAYSVILLE — The dates for the annual Independence Day celebrations for Spring City and Graysville have been set. Spring City’s Shake the Lake will be on Saturday, June 29, 2024, while Graysville’s Freedomfest will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Hosted by Friends of the Park and the Town of Spring City, the Shake the Lake celebration returns to Veteran’s Park on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

There will be a host of family-friendly activities and fun which include pageants, duck races, vendors, food, live music, and fireworks. The fireworks and show will be provided by the town of Spring City.

The City of Graysville Fire Department also announced that this year’s Freedomfest is set for Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Kristopher’s Kingdom Park

There are multiple events scheduled which will be fun for the whole family. The events include food, vendors, a bounce house, water activities, an auction, music, and fireworks show.

The community is welcome to attend the festivities and bring lawn chairs for an evening of family fun.
