    Portion of I-64 shutdown near Grayville

    WHITE COUNTY, Ill. (WEHT)- A portion of I-64 is shut down in White County, IL after a semi accident occurred in a construction zone.

    Kenco worker applications prioritized at local employer

    White County officials say that the accident happened at about 2:47 a.m. and that traffic is shut down between exits 110 and 130 as traffic is rerouted.

    Illinois State Police and the Illinois Department of Transportation are currently on the scene and officials say that the area could be shut down for some time.

    Officials state a bridge was damaged in the crash, and a secondary crash happened when an SUV hit debris from the first crash. No injuries were reported.

    Officials also state the eastbound lanes were shut down until about 7:46 a.m. while investigators inspected the bridge. The left lane has since reopened, and the right lane is still shut down.
