    Things to do in Green Bay this weekend: Brown County Fair, igNight Market, Candlelight concerts

    GREEN BAY - As summer winds down, a few seasonal events are wrapping up around Green Bay. The county fair is in full swing this weekend, so get our cowboy boots on.

    There's something for everyone going on this weekend, so here's a look at what is going on if you're still looking for something to do.

    Brown County Fair

    Head to the rodeo this weekend as the Brown County Fair goes on for its 143rd year. This year, there will be a demolition derby, horse pull, truck and tractor pull, PRCA rodeo, kids shows and more.

    The fair runs Wednesday to Sunday. General admission is $15 and includes parking, carnival rides, and entertainment. Admission for Sunday is $10. The fair is on the Brown County Fairgrounds, 1500 Fort Howard Ave., De Pere. The schedule, parking, and more information is at browncountyfair.com .

    Some highlights:

    • PRCA rodeo: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday
    • Demolition derby: 7 p.m. Wednesday
    • Horse pull: 11 a.m. Sunday
    • Truck and tractor pull: 7 p.m. Thursday for truck pull; 11 a.m. Saturday for tractor pull
    • Midway Music Stage: Wednesday, The Bogsurfers; Thursday, Ask Your Mother; Friday, Kylar Kuzio and Star Six Nine; Saturday, Crunch Time and Rebel Grace; Sunday, Bent Grass.

    Last food truck rally and Art and Music Night of the summer in De Pere

    Downtown De Pere is wrapping its summer events with the last Art and Music Night and food truck rally in the city. Check out outdoor murals and sculptures, live music, and street performers during Art and Music Night from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

    The final food truck rally of the summer in De Pere will be at 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Voyageur Park, 100 William St.. There will be eight food trucks, games, and live music. Information about events is at definitelydepere.org .

    igNight Market with hot-air balloons lights up the city

    The last igNight Market of the summer will end with the largest balloon glow the event has ever put on. Fifteen hot-air balloons will light up the Fox River by Leicht Memorial Park, 128 Dousman St., from 5-10 p.m. Saturday, weather permitting. The balloons will stay on the ground.

    Vendors will be selling art and goods, there will be live music, a giant insect hotel community art project, life-size glowing tree art, and more activities for kids and adults. Admission for the night market is free. More information is here.

    Cat-Con for Conservation at the NEW Zoo

    The NEW Zoo and Adventure Park is putting on its first Cat-Con for Conservation event to support conservation efforts of endangered cat species around the world including African lions and snow leopards.

    Superhero masks, capes and cat ears are encouraged. There will be Q&As about African lions, snow leopards, and Canada lynxes. There will also be crafts, cats' autographs, rock painting, and more. The event is free with zoo admission and is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday at the zoo, 4378 Reforestation Road. More information is here .

    Candlelight concerts perform Vivaldi and Coldplay

    FeverUp's candlelight concerts are back at Birder Hall, 400 Grant St., De Pere, this weekend with two shows performing Vivaldi and Coldplay. The first concert will feature Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" by the Listeso String Quartet at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. It will be followed by a tribute to Coldplay including many of their hits such as "Clocks," "Paradise," and "Yellow" at 8:45 p.m.

    • Saturday Farmers Market: 7 a.m.-noon Saturday, South Washington and Doty streets, Green Bay.
    • Movies at Titletown: Free showings of "Trolls" at 6:30 p.m. Friday and "Transformers" at 6:30 p.m. Saturday on Ariens Hill, in the Titletown District, Ashwaubenon.
