GREEN BAY - As the fall season approaches, some Wisconsin farms are using this time to build up the hype for the upcoming 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay .

Corn mazes with the 2025 NFL draft theme are set to debut throughout Wisconsin in the month of September. The mazes will "celebrate our strong agricultural identity and honor the hard work and dedication of farmers around the state," said Aaron Popkey, Packers director of public affairs and member of the local organizing committee,

Where are the NFL draft corn mazes located and what are their designs?

    • Petals & Plows Greenhouse in Ripon, 9129 Kaufman Rd. Opens Sept. 7 and will feature an 18-acre corn maze. The farm will also offer trees, pumpkins and other produce items for sale, as well as a playground for children.
    • Polly’s Pumpkin Patch , N4367 State 57, Chilton, will open a 17-acre maze that says, "DRAFT Pick is Polly’s," Sept. 13. The name comes from the co-owner of the pumpkin patch, Polly Juckem. The farm is a continuation of the Juckem Family Farm, which opened in 1889.
    • Feltz Family Farms and Dairy Store , 5796 Porter Dr., Stevens Point, will have a 12-acre "DRAFT 2025 GREEN BAY" corn maze starting Sept. 21.
    • Porter’s Patch , W4314 State 156, Bonduel, will have a corn maze of 32 scarecrow football players, where visitors can venture through the 3D puzzle. Maze opens Sept. 27.

According to Sheila Everhart, executive director of the Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association, the corn maze design for the next year process usually begins immediately after the fall season. Farmers were thinking about these designs as early as last December.

"Our Wisconsin farmers are so critical to our abundant food supply, our fresh fruits and vegetables and proteins, as well as our clean water and our conservation of our soils. Our Wisconsin farmers are critical to the success of our state," Everhart told the Press-Gazette.

The 2025 NFL draft is set for April 24-26 with about 250,000 people expected to be present during the three days and have an economic impact of $20 million in Brown County and $94 million across the state.

“We’re thrilled to see the 2025 draft create energy and anticipation not only in Green Bay but throughout Wisconsin, and this collaboration with family farms adds a unique local touch to the celebration,” said Discover Green Bay President and CEO Brad Toll.

The Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association has also created a maze challenge, where participants visiting a Wisconsin maze from Sept. 19 through Oct. 31 can get a chance to win prizes. To enter, visit a Wisconsin corn maze, take a photo of your visit, and post to Facebook with the tag #WATAMAZE. More info on the challenge can be found on the WATA website.
