There is much to do in Nashville and the Green Bay Packers have added one more thing.

Packers Everywhere scheduled a pep rally for 6 p.m. Saturday at Nashville Underground , 105 Broadway, Nashville. Pre-rally festivities and prize giveaways will begin at 4 p.m.

Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy will participate in a Q&A session with Packers Everywhere host Rebecca Zaccard. Packers alumni Chad Clifton and Scott Wells will take photos with fans and share their thoughts on the next day’s game against the Tennessee Titans . A roundtable discussion with packers.com’s Wes Hodkiewicz and Mike Spofford will conclude the event.

The 1-1 Packers play the 0-2 Titans at noon at Nissan Stadium.

This seems like it should be a Wisconsin contest

Bavarian Bierhaus , 121 Opry Mills Drive, is hosting a series of Masskrugstemmen competitions throughout September as part of the U.S. Steinholding Association’s official Tennessee State Championship qualifiers. Competition is held at 7 p.m. every Saturday through September.

Masskrugstemmen is a Bavarian sport translated loosely into the lifting and holding of a liter mug of beer. The Masskrug, a 1-liter Stein, is held with one arm, completely stretched out and parallel to the floor. The goal is to hold the Stein up as long as possible. A full 1-liter stein weighs about 5 lbs.

Among other events taking place on Saturday are the Bourbon and Beyond Festival, the 55th Nashville Film Festival, Five Points Alley Artists Market and The Oak Ridge Boys at the Grand Ole Opry, to name a few.

It's going to be miserably hot on Sunday

The National Weather Service forecast for Sunday in Nashville is mostly sunny with a high of 94 degrees. Humidity will be around 57%. Dehydration and heat stroke are possibilities if fans don't take necessary precautions, especially staying hydrated. Water, not beer.
